Recital Picture Day FAQs

 

Are there regular classes on picture day - Sat May 2nd?

No, but parents have the option to submit a

request for a makeup class through our website under the NSAD Parent page!

How do I schedule my child for their photos?

 

Approximately 30 days prior to recital day, you will receive a link to go online and schedule your appointment for the photo session from the list of available time slots.  All appointments are first come, first serve! Multiple dancers will be scheduled within the same timeslot & parents can schedule siblings for the SAME timeslot!

 

How much are the photos?

 

Please see attached flyer for full pricing.  Fees are charged per costume.  If you are in multiple classes, then the fees go down for each costume added on. You can decide how many costumes you want to use for photos! All photos are digital downloads.  Dancers will get two poses per costume.  For siblings, if they are in a combined total of 4 dances then you only pay the fees for 4 costumes!

 

Is prepayment & preregistration required?

 

YES!  Dancers must be registered to get a timeslot for their photo session and all photos must be prepaid prior to picture day! 

 

Can my child & their friend get a "buddy" photo?

 

YES!  You would still schedule your own individual photo session but if you have a "buddy" you want to get a pose with, then they just come to one or the other session.  Please let us know if you want a "buddy" photo so we can advise you on selections!

 

What if I want to get Recital Photos but I will be out of town or have a conflict?

 

Depending on how many dancers are absent on Picture Day and want to do a "makeup" photo session, the photographer has said she will try to find a date to schedule a short makeup session.  Again, it will be dependent on the number of dancers absent!
